DALS members provide forensic accounting and financial damages analysis for a variety of matters, including but not limited to:

  • Acquisition and Post-Acquisition Disputes
  • Construction Claims (Delay Damages and Lost Profits)
  • Real Estate and Construction Fraud Investigations
  • Partnership/Owner Disputes
  • Business Interruption

In addition to developing affirmative damages analyses and opinions, members of the DALS practice are often called upon to evaluate the reasonableness of the analyses and opinions of other experts, and address other issues such as whether any more appropriate, alternative damages theories have either been overlooked or not addressed.

DALS practice members hold specialty designations related to forensic accounting such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. DALS practice members are also invited to lecture on forensic accounting topics and methods in various professional forums.
